Is there a way to change all my contacts 'Display As' names in one go?

Each name is displayed as Fred Bloggs (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)

I just want to display them as 'Fred Bloggs'.

I know how to do this individually but I have several hundred contacts and it will take ages to do them all.

I set up a ms account when I updated to windows 10.

How do I stop my ms account or take it down?

Getting Windows live Calendar Service error message.

This is the message i'm getting when I run the repair scan.  please help.

my webmaster states that Office 365 may have done an update and used the incorrect email.  He states that there is nothing wrong on my server side.

Format:HTML Format Version:1.0 StartHTML:{0 8} EndHTML:{1 8} StartFragment:{0 8} EndFragment:{1 8} StartSelection:{0 8} EndSelection:{0 8} 1. The DNS records are not set correctly for your domain.
Your Outlook problems are happening because your DNS server settings include both a CNAME and SRV record set. To fix this problem, your Office 365 admin needs to change these DNS settings.
Remove SRV record "_autodiscover._tcp.mywolfprints.com" for domain "mywolfprints.com". This SRV record, in combination with a CNAME record, prevents Outlook from starting or loading the user's profile.
1. Go to your domain hosting provider's website (for example, GoDaddy, 1&1 Internet, or Register365).
2. Remove SRV record "_autodiscover._tcp.mywolfprints.com".

If you recently modified the DNS records, you need to wait up to 72 hours for the DNS records to fully replicate on the Internet.

I can't get to my office email so the reply can be emailed to my gmail account, jlwolf61

Hi,

Wonder if someone had this before.

I have set permissions to users X mailbox via delegate access and also permissions on the Task section in Outlook. User Y was given Owner / Full access on both.

Now user Y can open users X mailbox and add task but as soon as he tries to create a subfolder in tasks - the following error comes up:

"Cannot create the folder. you do not have permission to create a subfolder under this folder. To check your permissions for the folder, right click the top-level folder, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions."

Anyone had this before?

Spoke with Exchange guys - there are no restrictions on the exchange side.

User delegating is on Outlook 2010, the other is on Outlook 2013.

Both on Win 7 64b.

Hi Gang,

I've followed the guide <https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/239087>, and it works to an extent, but we're hoping for better. Any other ways to automate a reoccurring email?

Sub Item_PropertyChange(ByVal Name) Select Case Name Case "Status" if Item.Status = 2 then '2 = Completed Set NewItem = Application.CreateItem(0) NewItem. To = "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" NewItem.Recipients.ResolveAll NewItem.Subject = "This is the message subject text" NewItem.Body = "This is text that will appear in the body of the message." NewItem.Display

NewItem.Send End IF End Select End Sub

If not, how could I insert formatting such as paragraphs and making sections bold? I guess we'd need to utilise another class that allows HTML formatting such as <b></b> and so on?

To recap:

  1. Do any further processes or functions and applications that can automate the email?
  2. If nothing exists, can we perform formatting the on VB for the Outlook form?

Thanks,

Daniel

All my emails in my Inbox suddenly disappeared. Where did they go?

I'm using Outlook 2016 under Windows 10 with IMAP email accounts.

Note: I'm also using Outlook on another (older) computer also under Windows 10 but using POP accounts, and all the emails are still there.

Thank you.

Hi,

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and when I opened outlook all of my folders and contacts were missing. I attempted to open my Outlook Backup file but my contacts and folders are still not there. Can someone please help?

we are running Office 2010 Professional Plus and are trying to view the code in some custom forms.  when opening the form in design mode and clicking view code we get a 'cannot load this feature.  the specified module could not be found'.  what module is it looking for?  we have done a full install.  we are running on windows server 2008 r2 datacenter

Hello,

I have several users that are unable to view the free/busy on each other calendars. It is not a permissions issue because they are able to see my schedule and I am not sharing my calendar.

When ever they try to schedule a meeting and see if the person is free/busy it usually spins saying looking then it times out and says no connections. It is not happening to everyone but about 10 users in an office of 50.

I have tried the fix of going into the registry and adding a key and also unchecking the "Encrypt Data between MS Outlook and Exchange server" and that did not work.

Please help!

On Saturday, 25 June 2016, our Microsoft Outlook 2010 stopped working.  We can no longer receive or send e-mails, I upgraded to Windows 10 about six or seven months ago.  This problem happened before on Windows 8 and after I upgraded to 10.  In the past what I would do is reboot the computer and Outlook would start working.  However, that hasn't happened this time and I've rebooted several times. I went to the Outlook download splash screen and one of the options was "repair Outlook 2010."  I ran that, rebooted and the program still doesn't work.  We can get our e-mails from the web, on Outlook.com, that works fine, sending and receiving.  I thought about re-installing the program but I haven't done that yet. Here are the error messages I'm now getting:

!Task (my e-mail address) - Sending' reported error (0x80040126) : The operation cannot be performed because the connection to the sever is offline.

! Task (my e-mail address) reported error (0x8004102A) : Error with Send/Receive. There was an error synchronizing your folder hierarchy. Error:80041004.

!Task (my e-mail address) reported error (0x8DE00005) : There is an error synchronizing your mail account.  Please verify your account is configured correctly by first accessing your mail on the web. Error: 3219. Server. An error occurred in looking up the user's information in mserv.

Does anyone have some idea on what is going on and how can I fix this problem?

Thanks,  Jeff Ratcliffe

The view preferred by our customer service personnel is:

Favorites/folders on the left.  Inbox in the middle, reading pane on the right.  She sizes the reading pane larger so that all that was showing in the inbox portion was the date, who from, subject, category, attachment and flag on two lines.  Yesterday, it changed views.  I have gone through Help and followed the instructions to set up the view the way she wants and it isn't working.  It only shows who from, subject, category and flag.

Any ideas on what has happened and how we can correct it?  I have spent an hour looking for instructions, following instructions and nothing seems to work.  I am probably missing some obvious box that I should have checked.  Customer Service is not happy.   We have no IT help, I am the accountant and know just enough to be dangerous.

Thanks

cant delete corrupt email stuck in outbox. Any suggestions?

Getting the error when bringing up my email. error attempting to connect to the windows live calendar service.

How do I take my MS service down?

I've gone through this with 1st and 2nd level MS support.  Interestingly, if I understood my support person, 2nd level support didn't have a test machine with Office 2016/365.  The only solution, from 2nd Level support, was to remove the 3 of 5 installations of Office and reinstall with Office 2013.  This seems a pretty obvious problem to have been undetected before the software was released.  Now, how will I know when they fix it so I can, again, remove and reinstall what I paid for?
Outlook will not receive emails.  It does send.  It worked previously.  I have run the repair for Office 365, but this did not help.
