There are many options in Outlook that I can teach folks but there are some that I can't because I have a stand alone laptop w/o Exchange. Any suggestions on a free workaround to show the options ie: Out of Office and other options that Outlook offers
w/ Exchange?
Any tips for training Outlook 2010 on Win 8 platform without Exchange Server?
I set up Exchange on Outlook for Mac 2011 and it is connecting fine, downloading all my sub-folders. It says it is downloading emails (e.g. 16 in inbox and the blue bar goes to 16/16) but no emails are displayed in any folders or sub-folders. It says "connected
to Exchange" in the bottom right, and "all folders are up to date". I can send emails from it Outlook for Mac, but I can't see any. OWA is working fine. I've downloaded all updates.
Can anyone help?

Hallo, ich besitze ein Office 365 P1 Abo, bei dem ich den Benutzern Exchange Archiv Postfächer zugeteilt habe. Im Outlook 2010 waren sie sofort nach dem einrichten da, ohne das man Sondereinstellungen tätigen musste. In Outlook 2013 sind sie nicht da und
ich weiß auch nicht wo ich sie einstellen könnte. Habe diese Frage auch an Microsoft gestellt, und nach einer Woche kam die Antwort, dass ich die Frage hier doch im Forum stellen sollte :-( nicht sehr Kundenfreundlich ..
Vielleicht kennt hier jemand die Antwort .

Problems updating information in shared Exchange Account
Backend: Exchange 2010
Users: Office 2010 on Windows 7 x64.
A bosses PA has access to her bosses exchange account - opened and visible beneath hers in Outlook.
If she adds items to his calendar, or changes status of emails (read/unread/priority etc) they initially show as changed/added then revert back shortly thereafter.
Access is given in Exchange Management Console on server: Recipeint Configuration\Mailbox\Boss Right click\Manage Full Access Permissions and adding the PA there.
Her profile has been deleted, computer rebuilt et al (for other reasons) so I think its unlikely (but of course, not impossible) to be her machine/setup.
What's going on?
All ideas appreciated greatly.

I've been trying to configure outlook so I get Gmail and Hotmail. my problem is I've done something wrong and now every time I start up outlook, I get a popup box Microsoft Exchange where I have to put in Microsoft Exchange Server name and mailbox. if
I cancel this, then outlook closes I cant seem to get it to open. I've tried uninstalling office and reinstalling it but the problem is still happening.
Hi, We purchased a new Windows 7 computer and install Outlook 2007, I mistakenly setup using Exchange rather than POP 3 account. NOw I can't seem to stop Outlook from trying to load Exchange . I even tried deleting Outlook and started over, but still thye
same error message, "can't; locate the server' or something to that meaning. Any help?

I'm running Outlook 2011 on my Apple 10.6 machines - 2 desktops and 2 laptops. They are synchronizing to an Exchange 2010 server at work. Everything works ok except I'm noticing that one task is missing on one of the laptops - it sees the others and they're being updated (synchronized) but this one is missing! What can be done?

Is it going to be maintained?
Is a migration to Exchange 15 planned in a near future?
