As far as I can tell, not only is it impossible to create a search folder in OWA, it is also not efficient at updating folders that were created for the mail account using a local Outlook application. Is there any possibility of the Search Folder capabilities being added to OWA?
I have two hotmail accounts. I already had windows live, and school requires me to use this outlook live account. I love my windows account. I have more options and they are easier to use. If I accidently delete something on outlook I can't return it to my inbox like I can on windows. If I've sent something I can't reopen it and I have to move it to a folder to open it, but it's easy on windows. My favorite thing about windows is that I can easily block senders and reduce junk mail. This outlook account just plain sucks! Sorry, but it does.
Hope you make it better soon.
Rhonda
I have an Office 365 e-mail account. I connected to the Outlook Web Application and moved some e-mails from my inbox to another folder I had created. However, when I connect to the same account through IMAP, all of the e-mails that I had moved in the OWA were still in the inbox!
Also, I connected to the account in Outlook via a direct connection to Exchange and tried to move some e-mails that way, but the OWA didn't sync with the changes I made.
Can somebody please tell me what's going on here?
we journal all email (in/out) to a public folder so that principal has an oveeview of his business.
After I transfer my emails to a folder, I am unable to view that email again. I checked: unread, read, and deleted items, and it's not in any other folder.
