hi, it is have problem that has been asked many times but i'm having issues connecting my SLC webmail to my windows live mail at home and on my laptop,  it will prompt asking for password, i have tried my SLC.me password, and my student number with and without the 0,

any suggestions?  i know there are a few in my class that also want to set it up via there mobile device.

A few months ago I emailed this store asking a question and for some reason their response ended up in my mom's Gmail account. Everything was fine for a few months and then it happened one more time. We paid no mind. Now I'm away from home and I have MO and it's happening EVERY DAY. I send out emails and people reply to them and it get's sent to my mother's email address. She's gmail. I have gmail but I'm sending all my mail through microsoft outlook. They're completely different. My mother has been forwarding me my VERY important mail. When she forwards it and I read their reply it says: " from [person] to [my mother's email].

Please please someone help.

Please make this a feature.  Gmail can do it by some server setting that gives POP3 requests access to the sent items folder.  This is very useful for synching emails to my home desktop when I have to send email when I'm out elsewhere.

I'm sure there could be an account setting enabling and disabling POP3 access to the Inbox

I regularly run 3 different outlook windows--one is the actual program on my home computer, which I use for my personal email, another is for my first job email (through the web browser interface), and the other is for my second job email, through outlook 365. When a message comes through on any of these, it plays the same alert, and I have to check each account to see which has received the email. I know that I can have all 3 addresses flow into my outlook program, but I want to keep work separate from home.  Is there a way to customize the sounds that each makes, so that I'll know when I hear it which account has received the email?

First off, I am using Microsoft’s Hosted Exchange.  I check my email through 2 different outlook clients (one on a home computer and one laptop) and on my Android phone.  I have the same issue on my work and person hosted exchange accounts.

I have found that my Sent Mail folder does not seem to contain any items older than 30 days.  Well, usually one or two stragglers.  But eventually those go away.

I thought maybe I had something set to not sync Sent Items, but that is not the case as I see Sent Mail that was sent from both my home computer and my laptop Outlook clients.

So that makes me think somehow I have a 30 day retention policy or something on Sent Mail.

Does Sent Mail have a 30 day retention policy and how can I change it?

Or am I missing something else that explains why I don’t have Sent Mail past 30 days?

Hello, i've got a problem i can't get my head around.

I've allready spent way too many hours on trying to get this to work so I would be grateful for any help.

In my office i've got a computer which i connect to an office365 mailbox via outlook 2010 and exchange, there it works fine.

In my home however..

I can add the account fine, it syncs and does it's thing. Then after a reboot or shutdown/startup it won't sync anymore.

Just keeps asking for me to enter my password, although there is no password prompt. This won't go away after a reinstall of the program either, neither does it help to clean the registry from outlook keys before an install.

When i try to sync with my home computer i get an error "8004011D", and when i turn logging on i see a "Response error code: 80040413".

Does anyone have any help to offer?

I use Outlook 2010 on my laptop.  Depending on where I am using my laptop, I have to use different outgoing mail servers. Thethree companies I work for do not employ Exchange Server, nor does the company have any plans to make that investment, since there are only a handful of employees in each company. If I am mobile, I can use the "mail.xxxxx.com" SMTP server for my each company's email server, enabling the "my outgoing server requires authentication" option required by those servers. However, when I am in the office, I have to use the T1 provider's SMTP server (smtp.cavtel.net) without the authentication option enabled. When I am at home, I have to use smtp.comcast.net without authentication. I do not have to change the incoming server settings. Is there some way of managing these different smtp servers without going into my email accounts (I have three for three different businesses) and manually adjusting the outgoing server every time I change location?  Can this be handled through profiles without my email records ending up in three data files (mobile, home office)? This is cumbersome and would seem to be something that could more easily be managed.
