This particular post is about connecting a gmail account. Upon connecting to gmail, none of the message in my Sent Items folder are brought across to Office 365. This is a problem.

Not a whole lot of additional detail to give here. Why wasn't this implemented?

When using the Outlook desktop client, messages can be moved manually from one box to another; I have tested this with single messages and it works. However, I don't at all trust a desktop client to handle porting thousands of messages at once (i.e. Ctrl-A, Ctrl-drag/drop) because Outlook doesn't seem to support huge batch operations well.

Moreover, trying to break up my boxes into arbitrary batches for porting over isn't an acceptable solution either, because A) trial and error with respect to batch size is a horrible approach, and B) a task such as this, for large amounts of emails, will become prone to manual error.

Hello MSN:

Would you please allow MSN Hotmail  to allow input from my Print Screen function key?  For example:  This would be extremely helpful when emailing professors a copy of their post in a syllabus, to add that post in an email so they can see what you are questioning in the syllabus. The print screen function is better than copy and paste because it takes a picture of all the details from the current screen shot.

Also, is it possible to add a message recall function?

Thank you for your time,

Why is it so difficult to sync my uidaho account with Outlook, Android, and Windows Live?  And why don't you post the outgoing server settings along with the incoming server settings so we can maybe do what we need to do without having to involve tech support?  I had everything set up fine 8 months ago, then everything just stopped working, and your suggestions for getting everything back on line are incomplete or don't work (like where are the outgoing server settings?).  I would love an explanation.

Hi,

I have my own domain, lmcsoftware.com, which is hosted by Network Solutions.

I successfully setup Exchange for my email.

Q:  Do I need to buy/setup exchange so another user can POP their account using Outlook 2003?

I'll start with this post.

Thanks for your time,

Bruce

... this is not user friendly.......not to mention it takes DYAS for anyone to answer your questions we post in the forums. So much for 1 mullion people signing up the first day.   I would have thought microsoft would have everyone working overtime to answer all these questions with a day or so..... eh. Google did....

I hate to have to start a new post just to get answered but I have not gotten a reply for weeks now, and this issue is extremely aggravating.

As I posted in a different threads (these forums are a mess)...I have the setting of "do not automatically mark items as read" set but every time I log into my email all of the new messages are automatically marked as if I have read them. While I have it synced to my Samsung Galaxy, there are not mail settings to even set this type of an option so I do not believe it is a sync issue.  I want to be the one who designates when my mail is read and not read...not this program.

Why is this??  It is disconcerting to think that someone else is possibly in my email.

In addition, I have to hit refresh in order to get logged in...not sure that it is playing nice with FF but it is still a pain; especially when I have to enter my log in information twice to begin with because I had an apparent error in my input..which happened when I was on hotmail and even on a machine that had my information saved. :(

I will be honest to state that I am not thrilled with this migration to Outlook Exchange for my .edu email yet I was not entirely happy with hotmail either.  I am disappointed that I am not able to migrate this email account to another provider so I can manage it from a more favorable interface. I do not mean to be harsh in my feedback, but I do not like Outlook Live nor Hotmail as I have only had problems.  I have been forced to use them due to my educational institution otherwise, I would have used other email platforms.

While my negative tone is a turn off, I would hope that I can get a quick resolution to this problem as it would be most appreciated!!

Thank you.

Recently every user receives a page where additional information for security is being requested. The users have tried saving the details but this page comes up every time the user logs in to the email.

We use SSO and opeing the email directly or using SSO we get this page.

I have check a post regarding the same issue and the details on the post indicate that this problem should have been sorted. However we still receive this page.

I'd like to delete it all and start over with fresh one.

Can we do this ourselves or do we post a message here and wait forever?

How do I copy and paste from Microsoft Word to a website for an online internet class

I'm having an issue with a user who receives e-mails on her phone but OWA does not update. I looked for solutions online but I guess I may be wording it weirdly since i haven't seen anyone post about a similar problem. The user has never used full Outlook, just the web client. Her phone is an EVO 4g, with the default exchange settings. In OWA her options menu does not display the "Organize E-Mail" tab so she cannot access that(weird) to check for any rules. Her phone is listed in OWA with last being synced today at 11:42a. Is there a setting I may have missed that would do something with this?
