Outlook FAQ
I am using both Outlook 2010 and Office 365. I would like to connect my Outlook 2010 to my Office 365 (Outlook Web App) calendar so I can keep my calendars in sync. Is there a way to connect the web app to my desktop so I do not have to log into the website to use outlook?

Our customer replaced an employee. They went in and changed the username of the account in the management portal to the new employee.
Now I can access the Lync form the users PC no worries with the new User name and password. I can log into the owa portal and see the old users emails and the new users emails. But when I create a new profile in Outlook 2010 on the PC I am unable to set the account up manually of automatically.
Using the Auto setup the configuration stops at retreiving server settings. It just sits there with the little wheel spinning until i click cancel and then it advises it will try connecting with no encyption which fails. When using the Manual setup I click to resolve the server name and password and it advises the exchange is not online.
I have followed the how to setup the outlook manually from the website which advises about http connection etc...
From the Owa I have the server address as sinprd0310.outlook.com
I ran the download from the website and did any updates but this PC was accessing the email under the original employees name. It only stopped working when the User name was changed.
I would try recreating the account but there are a few hundred emails in the account.
I have also tried setting up the account both manually and automatically on a second machine with the same errors.
Any help or ideas would be great. If you need more info please let me know.
I started the trial version of 365 yesterday. I have 4 email accounts in total and the only one that has migrated is the hotmail account. I can't access my emails with Outlook and they are not on 365. I have notfied my ISP with the new details as per the 365 instructions. When i try to add new email accounts to 365 it can't find the server. Is it just a matter of waiting 72 hours or have I missed something.

I never had a bit of trouble with my old Live Mail account with my Live Website, and it worked flawlessly, but this miserable excuse for email is nothing but trouble. So much so, that I finally gave up trying to use it. You forced me to buy Outlook, which I did not need or want, then it is nothing but trouble from day one.
So I gave up trying to make it work. I just connected my Office 365 account with my iPad and iPod, and that is the only place I ever read my email. That worked fine until about 2 months ago, then recently, I discovered that you were not keeping and displaying my sent emails! Therefore, I have no way of keeping track of what I've sent in order to communicate effectively with my customers!
What in the world excuse do you have this time? Please fix this ASAP! I need to know what is going on with you, and my customers. I wish I could go back to Hotmail/Live Mail, or whatever you want to call it! At least that worked, and this miserable Outlook.com sure doesn't!
A few days ago I started having authentication problems connecting to my account via Firefox. I went to the webmail login page and it still won't accept my password (the same one I have saved that has always worked.) I went through the process to reset my password, and it worked on both the website and Firefox. Today I got the authentication error again, and once again was unable to logon through webmail. When I went to the reset page it told me that I couldn't reuse the password, but I still couldn't log on with it. I changed it yet again but I can't keep changing it every day! (Note: I did NOT select the option to force me to reset my password every 72 days.)
I have make a ccount in stocks website and I regiester my work e-mail.
They send a massage to me the activation code in junk items of my work e-mail, but I didn't received it since 3 hours from they sent it, Why?
I referesh my e-mail so many times and reopened it but not appeared.
Please how you can help me

We have several email addresses that still need to be in service and monitored for a specific time, but we do not want to have those former users in the Global Address List. The process does not seem to be evident on the 365 website.
Any suggestions?
Since I have a Hotmail account on Office Live how would I use this new outlook.com? I believe it is an Outlook web app which I saw on Facebook and Twitter.
I will be getting Office 2013 once released and I already have the preview from the very first day it was launched.
