When I setup a client running office 2010 I normally use the “Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP” setting. Then I set it to “basic authentication when connecting to my proxy server for exchange.” The problem is in this new Outlook 2016 client that
is not an option. Instead I have this window to setup my username and email address and password and I can’t change the proxy setttings. Outlook can not discover my mail server.

How am I supposed to change the proxy settings so that I can use 2016 with my hosted exchange server?

Sorry to select OneNote but Outlook is not an option. I guess 99.9% now use outlook.com or something.
