We are an organisation with a single Exchange 2010 server.

All our addresses are @aaa.co.uk.

We have now acquired another domain name (bbb.co.,uk) and would like some of our users to have two mailboxes, @aaa.co.uk and @bbb.co.uk.

We need them to send mail from either domain and external users to not know both companies are connected.

We have all our mail coming in via an ISP, who host our MX records, so I assume we just get them to host the MX records for bbb.co.uk also.

We do not have an Edge Transport server role.

Where do I go from there?

Am I right in thinking we need to create an Accepted Domain for bbb.co.uk then create separate mailboxes?

A step by step or well explained guidance would be much appreciated.

Regards,

Dear supporters,

My domain’s www.ibid.vn

When I register it has problem like this:

This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

My company working in investment. Please help me out this problem.

I’am looking foward to your reply

I have had too many call to Sky with lack of help to count.

Over the last few days I have changed no setting and me emails started to fail using the SMTP setting that had worked for years. I managed to work out what was stopping my emails from sending by trial and error.
In the change Account page I have in User Information Your Name my email address with my domain name and in E-mail Address I have my email address with my domain name. The SMTP settings are all set up for SKY and the Outgoing Authentication is all set
up with the Sky email address.
I had to change in User Information the E-mail Address to the Sky email address to be able to send emails. Sky have informed me this is a Microsoft change not Skys.
Anyone able to help?

I want to register my domain name “xpertsyatems.net” but I am getting this error message

“This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact
support if you feel this is not the case.”

Kindly resolve the issue.

Regards

I am moving users from one domain to another. Renaming their PC, and also giving them a new user name on the new domain.

In the migration I have a set of users that are no longer able to use Autocomplete in Outlook 2010.

Renaming the RoamCache file and having Outlook recreate it has not solved the issue. It does recreate it, but does NOT recreate the Stream_Autocomplete dat file. All the other dat files are recreated in the RoamCache folder.

If I copy the Stream_Autocomplete dat from the users previous domain name to the new one, Outlook is not seeing it. Renaming it something new doesn’t fix the issue either, as I don’t have one to copy the name from.

I have tried numerous fixes from numerous forums, including this one, with no success. Even I deleted the users account and recreated it in Outlook but still no success.

There is no NK2 file to import or run a fix on. These PC’s have only had Outlook 2010 installed.

We have stopped the migration until we have this solved.

I am trying to setup a Microsoft services account however when I enter my domain I get the following error.

This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language

Dear Outlook.com,

I want to use Outlooks emails for my domain http://winnersfrontiers.com which is a PR company but getting the following error:

This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

Please help.

Thanks.

Hello, I’m hoping to reach a moderator with this post — this was the method suggested by your chat folks.

About 5-6 years ago, I purchased a domain name and email addresses through a bundled package.  Looks like Melbourne IT ended up doing the hosting, and I used the old hotmail interface, now Outlook.com, to access emails sent to the addresses on my personal
domain.
For several days now, I’ve been unable to receive emails sent to addresses on my personal domain.  Melbourne IT says the issue is due to some decommissioned servers, and has suggested that I need to make some configuration changes in their domain maintenance
tool.
One of the pieces of information that I need is the MX record for the email addresses on the domain.  Melbourne IT says I need to get this from Microsoft.  Hoping that someone can help me track down this information.

Thanks,
Matt

I need this domain to please be whitelisted for email please.

themoneymakingformula.com
This is a very tedious process – it tells you to go to support and there is absolutely nothing about this issue or any form to ask for a review or anything.
Please help

I went to

https://domains.live.com/Signup/SignupDomain.aspx
To sign up for outlook email for my domain name. The domain name is cashfam.ly. I received the following error:
This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.

I assume this is because ‘cash’ is included in the domain name. I assure you that this is my last name, and I intend to use this domain name for personal email.
What can I do to get this resolved?

I’m trying to use Outlook.com to manage my custom domain email for the domain: videogamepreordermadness.com

When I tried to set it up, I got this error:
“This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language.”
I don’t think that there’s anything inappropriate with my domain name or the content on my site. Can you help me fix this?

Hi,

I’m getting this error when I try to register an email on own domain.

Purpose: Czech PR company

Thank you for your help and I hope in the fast solution of my problem

Please I am still unable to register my domain www.acumaven.com on the windows live admin centre. I still get the error
This domain name can’t be used because it contains a protected word or inappropriate language. Please contact support if you feel this is not the case.
This is despite a reply that said the domain had been added to the whitelist.

Please help rectify this. Thank you.
