The office team reloaded my office 365 and upon doing so I lost my MSN live Calendar desktop sync.

I cannot get it to sync, but my contacts and emails from my msn account sync.

Unfortunately, when I get a calendar invite its to that calendar and impossible to accept into the other two icloud calendars that sync.

I need to know what support staff is best to figure out why the server is syncing the mail and contacts, but not the calendar with Microsoft.

the calendar on my Microsoft Outlook syncs with my iPhone and iPad, but it does NOT sync with the Outlook calendar on my Surface and it does not sync with Outlook.com.

Can you help me sync it with the Surface and Outlook.com?

Also, is there a way to sync the calendar with OneDrive?

Please note, by contacts and emails sync in outlook.com without problem.

This has been going on for days now. Is Microsoft ever going to get around to fixing this problem?

Its obvious that other users are experiencing this issue and I'm sure would love to have it resolved.

I have WLM 2011 on Win7. There are 2 gmail accounts and 4 Hotmail accounts. As of ~4days ago, two Hotmail accounts now no longer work, but the other two do continue to work.

I have changed the time on the computer (it wandered ~15mins off).

I have applied any important updates from windows update.

I have deleted one of the accounts and tried to re add it into WLM. It fails to sync (0x800488EB).

I have not changed the other bad account, it still fails to sync on send and receive (0x800488EB).

Unable to send or receive messages for the Msn (scotco) account.

The other two Hotmail accounts still work and sync as expected.

The gmail accounts work and sync as expected.

I have logged into one of the failing Hotmail accounts via the web, all appears well.

I'm confused as to why one account works and one does not when syncing in Windows Live Mail 2011.

Plse advise.

I have been on the forum for a couple of days trying to figure out how to sync my outlook calendars.

I have called the support number to help with this but they told me that I needed to pay for them to set it up.  They recommend I look on here.  almost all the comments are from people who have exchange accounts which I do not have.  Here are the details

window 7 both computers

office 365 home premium

Imap account for yahoo and go daddy (emails work fine, so far)

Is there something different I need to do to have the calendar sync?  Can someone help with getting this set up?

Good Afternoon,   I could use a little help.

In the past I have used Outlook on a PC along with iCloud to sync my calendars and contacts.   I recently switched to a Mac.  I am trying to recreate the same syncing capabilities.  I signed up for Office 365 for Home $9.99 a month which included the download of the Office 2011 for Mac.

I understand that Office 2011 for Mac does not have the capability to sync with iCloud.  I don't really care that I can't sync through iCloud.  i understand that Apple and Microsoft are fighting over who get the be the big boy and hope that they will work out their issues soon.

For now I would like to find a way that will allow me to sync my calendar and contacts through Office for Mac 2011.    Right now I am running Office 2010 with the iCloud download on Parallels and using the other Office for Mac products (word, excel, etc)

My question is does the Office 365 for Home subscription include the ability to sync the calendar and contacts and if not how would I go about it?  I see  reference to a Microsoft Exchange Server but can't tell if that is part of the subscription or something different.

thank you

Is there a way to sync my Google calendar with the Outlook 2013 calendar?

I use Google calendar because it automatically syncs with my phone and I would like it to also sync automatically with Outlook. This is probably very simple for most of you but I am relatively a novice at settings beyond the simple things

I am tying to sync my calendar in outlook pc with my windows phone. What calendar should I be using in outlook pc? My outlook pc or outlook.com.

Also when I get a meeting request to my outlook pc email and I accept it it goes to the outlook pc calendar. Do I then have to

manually move or should it sync on its own? Help!

Thanks in advance.

I am using Outlook for Mac 14.3.9, I have the outlook.com account set up using imap.  For the last 3-4 weeks I open Outlook for Mac, all accounts connect/sync without a problem.  I usually leave my email open while I am working, and I will intermittently receive the following pop-up message

The server for account "Outlook.com" returned the error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

If i cancel it, the account my sync, or it may pop up again, but it will eventually sync without problem.  This does not occur on Outlook for windows, or on my iPhone which also uses imap to connect.

Any suggestions...

Hi -

I have Outlook 2011 running on my Mac (running Mavericks). I have it set up with Gmail over IMAP.

I am using IMAP IDLE and I can receive and send emails. My issue is largely around when I close (quit) Outlook. I have a schedule set to send and receive all on quit but whenever I quit it just closes without doing any kind of sync. So if I make changes to my Inbox content and quit Outlook before they sync, then my changes are not synced to the server. When I have used Outlook at work previously (albeit with MS Exchange) when I closed Outlook, it would do a sync before closing. Any ideas what might be wrong?

I also wanted to distinguish the behaviours for different types of sync:

 - If I mark an email as read, would this be considered as part of 'Send/Receive All'?

 - If I delete an email as read, would this be considered as part of 'Send/Receive All'?

If I hit the Send/Receive All button then it will sync the above type of changes but it does not do it automatically on quitting Outlook.

The other issue is that if I mark an email as read/delete an email, these changes take a long time to sync via IMAP IDLE - anything I can do to improve this?

I have highlighted my two issues/questions just in case it gets lost in the detail. :)

I recently purchased a subscription to Office 365, Click to Run Install, but found that Outlook 2013 does not reliably download my various email accounts when set up as IMAP accounts. I wanted to use IMAP so that all my emails stays sync'd across all of my computers and devices. After talking with Microsoft and they could not offer any solutions to the download issue and after searching the internet the best solution seemed to be to change to Eudora or revert back to Outlook 2010. Being a long time Outlook user I choose to revert back to Outlook 2010. However with Click to Run installation I cannot uninstall Outlook 2013 and when I go to configure iCloud to sync my calendars, contacts and tasks it will not let me as there are 2 versions of Outlook running.

Anyone know of a solution or workaround for this? Or should  I just change to Eudora or another mail app.

Could I set up a Google Calendar sync'd to iCloud and then sync my Outlook 2010 Calendar to the Google Calendar.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have read several post on issues related to sync.

This was posted almost 18 months ago

I posted this myself a few days ago
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-outlook/sync-single-pst-file-from-outlook-2013-across/62137616-e487-47f6-9928-9db70f932bc0?rtAction=1395754754361

I continue to be surprised at how awkward the solutions are, but I think I might have arrived at the appropriate solution and I want to be sure so that is why I have started this seperate post.

It looks like if I pay for Office 365 Small Business package that includes Exchange, I can have all my email accounts sync on all my devices.

1. Use IMAP on all my accounts to a local PST file or files.

2. Then, use Office 365 Exchange services to sync local PST.

If this is truly a sync solution and I am paying for one user license.

1. Can I use multiple PSTs on the Exchange Server or do I need to use just one ?

2. If I was to say for example, sync my yahoo calendar with my Desktop Outlook connected to Exchange would this work as well ?

I am trying to sync godaddy email to gmail and outlook 2013.

I need a step by step to go thru.

also, trying to sync email on Galaxy S4 and I don't receive emails from Outlook account, only Gmai.

Can I combine outlook and gmail on S4?

Please help...years of issues trying to sync...

Can anyone recommend software that will sync my POP3 messages, address book, and calendar between 2 PCs (laptop and desktop)?

I am trying out SimpleSYN, but it didn't sync all of my address book [contacts]. I have my contacts in several different folders [e.g. business, family, friends] and only folder that gets synced is the one named "Contacts".

Also, I think it's ridiculous that Microsoft didn't include this functionality in Outlook.
